Nowadays, sexual violences often happen without solution from government of Indonesia. I think it is true because this matter is not only about system, but also about culture in environment and family.
I trust that most sexual violence and, another
case, child neglect, need to be solved by delicate handling of all sides. The
condition happened, nowdays, indicates damage of some life aspects having been
our principe in life.
There are many ways of child neglect done by
parent –throwing away child in public place, running off after giving birth to
child, leaving child in orphanage and abortion. There are parents selling their children.
Absolutely this problem happens because many reasons, including sexual
violence.
Ieda Poenomo Sidi, a psychologist, said,
“There are four principles having been control of behaviour for every body
–religion, cultural value, rule in our life and law. However, self control
decreases. So people think that we can do every thing, including child neglect.
They give their child matter to government or social organization. This matter
is not new thing.
Punishment to presents neglecting their
children is absurd. Therefore, they think that child neglect does not have the
punishment. This instance can influence the same event.
Ieda said, a way which can be done is sexual
education from the early. It is important that children and youngmen are not
influenced by sexual violence.
Knowing about condom and family planning is a
solution of this problem and an important matter in order not to be framed for
a false pregnancy.
In family level, she gives an opinion that now
parents should focus on family’s economical needs. Therefore, there are many
parents working and having lack of child care, especially in a child grows,
including child’s self control develops. Generally, society does not care about
environment. In school, a child is motivated to exhibit the intelligence.
